Premio letterario nazionale Amerigo delle Quattro Libertà

Quale membro del Board di “Amerigo” ho avuto l’onore e il piacere di conferire quest’anno il premio letterario “Quattro Libertà’ “ – per la sessione Libertà’ di Opinione – alla giornalista e scrittrice Widad Tamimi (libro “Dal mare al fiume”).
In presenza del Console US Terrence Flynn si è ribadita la grande importanza del rispetto della libertà di opinione in tempi moderni, e nel rispetto del Patto Atlantico che lega storicamente Italia e Stati Uniti d’America.

As a member of the Board of “Amerigo” I had the honour and pleasure of awarding this year the literary prize “Four Freedom” – for the Freedom of Opinion session – to the journalist and writer Widad Tamimi (book “From the sea to the river”).
In the presence of the US Consul Terrence Flynn, the great importance of respecting freedom of opinion in modern times was reiterated, and in compliance with the Atlantic Pact that historically binds Italy and the United States of America.
